Max Strickland age 56 died Saturday in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.

He is survived by his mother Estelle Strickland of Tabor City. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Tracy Lee Strickland, one daughter, Jessica Paige. One son Steve Strickland of Elizabethtown, NC, One brother Adam Strickland of Tabor City, one sister Tammy Lynn Waddell of Tabor City, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step father, Tommy Strickland and grandparents, Nathan and Lille Strickland.

Visitation will be held Monday from 12:30pm until 1:30pm  in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:00pm in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
