Mrs. Mary Louise Hinson, age 72, died Monday, September 21, 2015, in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born December, 3, 1942 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Fussell Small and Lena Spivey Small.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Elbert Hinson; one brother; and two sisters.

She is survived by three daughters: Jean Hinson Cobb (Richard) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mary Lynn Hinson of Whiteville, NC, Ann Hinson Smith of Wilmington, NC; one son: William Randolph Hinson (Jackie) of Chadbourn; four sisters: Betty Strickland of Green Sea, SC, Doris Hewitt of Calabash, NC, Marilyn Holmes of Loris, SC, Sherry Powell of Whiteville, NC; three grandchildren: Emmy Smith, Lily Smith, Megan Cobb; four step grandchildren: Eric Holmes Jr., Elijah Holmes, Ethan Holmes, Ezra Holmes.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1 PM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the cemetery at 12 PM.
