Margaret Jo Willoughby, known to many from decades as organist and pianist at Tabor City Baptist Church, most recently living in Anderson, SC, died August 28, 2015. She was 81.  Born January 20, 1934 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Fred McCoy Jernigan and Bobbie Garrell Jernigan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Ann Jernigan Baxter, and two brothers, Robert Andrew Jernigan and Fred McCoy Jernigan, Jr..

She is survived by two sons: Michael Lonnie Willoughby (Cathy Taylor Willoughby) of Belton, SC, Robert Stephen Willoughby (Michelle Burns Willoughby) of Simpsonville, SC; two grandchildren: Evan Burns Willoughby and Lauren Elizabeth Willoughby.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2 PM in the Tabor City Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City. 

Visitation will be held in the church prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the music program at the Tabor City Baptist Church or your local church would be appreciated.
