Brittons Neck, SC   

Mrs. Lorraine Metts Turner age 68 died Monday in the McLeod Hospice House, Florence, SC.  Born November 9, 1946 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Backman Metts and Dorothy Hoffman Metts. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Metts and Carolyn Metts. 

She is survived by her husband: Jerry Hucks of Brittons Neck, SC; three sons: Roy Lowman (Donna) of Florence, SC, Bob Lowman (Lisa) of Conway, SC, Nicky Moore of Florence, SC; one daughter: Angela Cooper (Al) of Johnsonville, SC; two sisters: Betty Jean Bedenbaugh of Columbia, SC, Mary Skinner of Myrtle Beach, SC; four brothers: Raymond Metts of Myrtle Beach, SC, Billy Metts of Kenneshaw, GA, Charlie Metts of Hartsville, SC Ronald Metts of Patrick, SC, Donald Metts of Patrick, SC; and six grandchildren: Ashton Lowman, Lacy Legge (Shane), Meagan Lowman, Adam Lowman, Brock Cooper, Cory Cooper.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11 AM in the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Florence, SC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. All other times will be at the home of Roy & Donna Lowman.
