Green Sea, SC 

Mrs. Lenore Hughes Shelley died Sunday, May 1, 2016 in her home.  Born May 4, 1942 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Galbert Hughes and Pauline Todd Hughes Henderson.

She is survived by her husband: Ronnie Gene Shelley of Green Sea, SC; mother-in-law: Melba Fowler Shelley of Loris, SC; one son: Dennis (Debra) Brown of Loris, SC; one sister: Phylis (Charles) Cooke of Loris, SC; one grandson: Dennis Brown Jr. of Charlotte, NC ; a special friend she considered a grandson, Charles “Cobi” Williams of Loris, SC; one granddaughter: Crystal (Nicklaus) Sprouse of Columbia, SC; one great grandson: Tanner Sprouse; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother: Kim Todd Hughes.

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, NC. Burial will follow in the Twin City Memorial Gardens, Loris, SC.
