Lee Odell Manning age 97 died Wednesday in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Hardison Manning. Four brothers, Guy Manning, Lester Manning, Sammy Manning, Otha Manning and one sister, Mary Beard.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in WWII

He is survived by three daughters, Miriam Lightsey of Tallahassee, FL. Phyllis Gore of Nakina, NC, Janet King of Hampstead, NC.

Two sons, Lee Odell Manning Jr. of Swansboro, NC Douglas Manning of Raleigh, NC. Nine grand-children and seven great grandchildren  

A memorial service will be held February 5, 2017 at 1 PM in the Bethlehem Baptist Church  32970 NC Hwy 210, Currie, NC 28435.
