Mr. Joe Dean Blanchard, age 68 died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Conway Medical Center.  Born October 25, 1946 in Alamance County, he was the son of the late Jim Blanchard and Helen Fitch Blanchard.

He is survived by two daughters: Crystal Blanchard Hill of Green Sea, Tammy Marcum of Loris; one son Joey Dean Blanchard of Oceanside, CA; and ten grandchildren.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11 AM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Loris, SC.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
