TABOR CITY, NC
Irvin Larry Duncan, age 62 of Tabor City, died Wednesday in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. Born in Loris, SC he was the son of Dorothy Coleman Duncan and the late Ralph Benston Duncan. Mr. Duncan worked for the NC Department of Correction for 20 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Chevonne Hillard Duncan; one son Christopher Ray Duncan of Chesapeake, VA; one daughter Tonya Duncan Hammonds of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; two step-children: Sean Dankert of Jerral, TX and Meaghan Dankert of Houghton Lake, MI; three brothers: Lloyd Benston Duncan and Mickey Ray Duncan both of Tabor City and Terry Gene Duncan of Spartanburg, SC; one sister Maurnice Duncan Johnson of Tabor City and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Inman Funeral Home of Tabor City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
