Tabor City, NC

Mr. Gregory Stephen "Steve" Sarvis, age 56, died Monday, January 4, 2016 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.  Born December 12, 1959 in Horry County, he is the son of Lila Soles Sarvis and the late Joseph H Sarvis.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters: Leslie Sarvis (Bo) of Tabor City, and Marie Martin (Christopher) of Aynor, SC; four sisters: Teresa Watts of Tabor City, NC, Sherri Wilson of Loris, SC, Josette Harrelson of Tabor City, NC, and Tracy Laffidy of Hartsville, SC; four grandchildren: Hailey Sarvis, Easton Martin, Carley Martin, and Mileigh Stevenson.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Elbert and Hazel Soles and his paternal grandparents Ossie and Elma Sarvis.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
