Elsie Soles Puckett Rhye, age 83, died Friday, December 15, 2017 in her home. Born September 13, 1934 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Alice Russ Soles and the widow of Curtis Rhye.

She is survived by her three sons: Gary Puckett of Tabor City, NC, Kent Puckett of Tabor City, NC and Tim Puckett of Garland, TX; one sister: Alice Ann Price of Stanly, NC; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers: Danny Soles, Johnny Soles, Douglas Soles and Jerry Soles; one granddaughter: Nichole Puckett.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017, at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Soles Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
