Green Sea, SC.

Edith Boyd Buffkin age 76 died Sunday in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born in Columbus County, NC she was the daughter of the late Willie and Eva Norris Boyd. She was the widow of Cleo Braxton Buffkin.

She is survived by two sons: Michael Buffkin of Green Sea, SC. Kevin Jason Buffkin of Missouri. Two sisters: Hilda Simmons of Lumberton, NC., Mary Alioto of Clarendon, NC and six grandchildren .

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers: AC Boyd, WB Boyd, and Wayne Boyd. Three sisters: Eloise Grimsley, Daphine Boyd, and Clara Boyd.  

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30AM til 10:30AM in Inman Ward Funeral Home Tabor City, NC.
