Tabor City, NC

Earl Dale Spivey, Sr., age 74, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in his home.  Born August 16, 1943 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Arthur and Adell Williams Spivey.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Judith Harrison Spivey of the home; one brother: Elbert Spivey of NC; three sisters: Doris Neupert of Chesapeake, VA, Dorothy Spivey of Tabor City, NC, Shelby Jean Spivey of Myrtle Beach, SC; and special nephew: David Bragg and wife Toi and his children, James and Zoey.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son: Earl Dale Spivey, Jr.; and one sister: Sherry Jane Corothers.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
