 Dorothy Williams Campbell, age 93 died Saturday December 5, 2015 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Center, Whiteville, NC. Born July 12, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lester Williams and Fleetie Morse Williams and the widow of Herbert Campbell.

 She is survived by one daughter: Carol Wright (Roger) of Clarendon; one son: Herbert Campbell Jr. (Brenda) of Randleman, NC; one sister: Elizabeth Simpson of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren: Chris Wright (Lisa) of Little River, SC, Timothy Wright (Sheila) of Clarendon, Tonya Campbell of Randleman, Joey Campbell (Amanda) of Lexington; five great grandchildren: Dylan and Kyle Wright, Brianna Wright, Kayla and Savannah Campbell; and her pet companion: “Baby”.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Burleson, Seth, Hershel, Hubert and P.L. Williams; three sisters Edith Prince, Lillian Williams Prince, Marvelann Norris.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Lawn Baptist Church, US-701 Bypass, Tabor City, NC  28463, or Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail Rd., Whiteville, NC  28472.   

 Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.  Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

 The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
