Tabor City, NC

Bryan Lucas Gaskins, age 19, got his wings December 25, 2017, when he went to be with the Lord.  He was born November 2, 1998 in Wilmington, NC.  He was the son of Davis Christopher and Joanne Goff Grice of Tabor City, NC.

He is survived by his biological parents: Chris (Melissa) Gaskins of Shallotte, NC and Beth Scott of Shallotte, NC; four brothers: Gavin Willard of Shallotte, T.J. Willard of Shallotte, J.C. Gaskins of Mullins, SC, C.J. Scott of Shallotte; seven sisters: Autumn Perdue, Summer Perdue, Cheyenne Spaulding, Morgan Spaulding, Nichole Willard, Jaedyn Gaskins, and Kasey Scott, all of Shallotte, NC; maternal grandparents: Luke and Lisa Chaney of Shallotte, NC; paternal grandmother: Nina Matthews of Little River, SC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Upon leaving school, he went to work in marine construction.  His life was short but he was loved by many and returned that love. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Carey Gaskins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 6 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. 

The visitation will follow the service in the chapel.
