Loris, SC

Mr. Billy Rogers, age 72, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.  Born April 23, 1945 in Lumberton, NC, he was the son of the late John and Sophronia Rogers and the widower of Evelyn Aline Watts Rogers.

He is survived by two daughters: Pamela Rogers of Rowland, NC, Adriane Graham of Loris, SC; four sons: Billy Rogers Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, James Rogers of Fairmont, NC, Ricky Rogers of Fairmont, NC, Billy Wayne Chester of Loris, SC; two step daughters: Norma Jean Dew of Chadbourn, NC, Marva Dean Chester Locklear of Whiteville, NC; one step son: Shane Chester of Loris, SC; one brother: Bobby Ray Rogers of Riverdale, GA; twenty seven grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and special nephews: Don Rogers and Stanley Rogers, Jr. “Pap”.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Swett; and four brothers: John Junior “Shorty” Rogers, Israel “Bill” Rogers, Stanley Rogers, Sr., W. H. Rogers.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
